How much does the QR code digital menu cost?
The first 30 days from delivery are free. After that the service costs €190 a year all inclusive (less than €16 a month): custom menu, QR code, hosting, a dedicated web address for your venue (e.g. dsmenu.it/yourvenue), SSL certificate and up to 4 changes a month.
Do I have to pay anything to start the trial?
No. The 30-day trial starts when we deliver your menu and we don't ask for any upfront payment. At the end you decide whether to continue at €190 a year.
What do I need to send you to get started?
Just a photo of your printed menu on WhatsApp, your logo if you have one and the allergens of your dishes. If you like, add a few photos of your dishes: we take care of the rest.
How long does it take to get the menu ready?
About 48 hours from when you send us your menu, even just as a photo on WhatsApp.
Do customers have to download an app?
No. They just scan the QR code with their phone camera: the menu opens in the browser, on any smartphone or tablet.
Are allergens shown?
Yes: every dish shows the icons of the 14 allergens required by EU rules, with a legend. The allergen information is provided and confirmed by the restaurant.
Can I change dishes and prices?
Yes, up to 4 changes a month are included: tell us on WhatsApp what to change and we update it. The QR code on the tables always stays the same.
Can I have the menu in several languages?
Yes, the menu can have several languages, for example Italian and English, switched with one tap: ideal for venues with foreign guests.
What address will my menu have?
Your menu will have a dedicated web address with the name of your venue, like dsmenu.it/yourvenue, included for free: you don't need to buy or manage a domain. It's the address behind the QR code, and you can also add it to Google, Instagram and WhatsApp.
Can I also put the menu on Google and Instagram?
Yes. Besides the QR code, the menu has its own web address: you can add it to your Google business profile, your Instagram bio, Facebook, or send it to customers on WhatsApp.
Does it also work for bars, pubs, piadina shops and kebab shops?
Yes: restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias, sushi, burger joints, piadina shops, kebab shops, bars, pubs and cocktail bars. On the templates page you'll find examples for every kind of venue.
What happens if I don't want to continue after the trial?
No cost and no penalty: the menu is paused and you get the PDF of your menu for free.
Does the digital menu completely replace the printed one?
